DAF Trucks N.V. - has been a subsidiary of PACCAR Inc since 1996 and is one of the biggest manufacturers of heavy trucks in the world. Their headquarters are in Eindhoven in the Netherlands and was founded in 1928. The first truck DAF built was the A30 in 1949, but their first international success was the 2600. DAF was also one of the pioneers of using turbocharged diesel engines in their trucks, and still innovate today using modern technology such as hybrids in the DAF LF45 hybrid Version.
